Geohazard Assessment Program
Vulnerability Risk Assessment
Intensive Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Campaign
•1:10,000 scale rain-induced landslide and flood susceptibility assessment of 42,036barangays in 1,643 cities and municipalities started in 2011 and was completed in 2014 (100% completion) by the MGB-CO and MGB-ROs.
•The intensive Information, Education, Communication (IEC) campaign which started in 2015 is set to be completed by the end of 2017.

CONCLUSION
•Disaster Preparedness Plan is better implemented by those keypersons (DILG, LGUs, DSWD, and other disaster preparedness and response agencies) who understood and who are aware of the basic concepts geohazards.
• Inter-operability among agencies
•Community geohazard map is an important tool in increasing the capacities of the communities.
