UWA High Achievers Program for Year 12 Students
This is a three-day program that provides high-achieving Year 12 students with the
opportunity to experience various aspects of university life at UWA.
Students who attend will:
learn more about Assured-entry Pathways to professional postgraduate
degrees
meet the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) Academic Coordinator, and
current BPhil (Hons) students
participate in a wide range of academic, recreational and social activities
experienced hands-on workshops, led by field experts
explore the UWA Crawley campus and tour various faculties

required to attend all workshops across the three-day program)

Year 12 students wanting to
increase their vocational
qualifications can undertake 8
vocational units during the
winter school program.
The units include safe use
and operation of a range of
equipment and machinery
commonly used within the
agricultural industry and:
Farm chemicals (including Chemcert certificate);
Precision agriculture and crop production;
Low stress livestock handling and feedlot production.
Students will also need to complete theoretical components of the units (online) by 7
January 2017.
