Ergonomics laboratory at Department of Design, IIT Guwa-hati was set-up in 1999 under leadership of Prof. DebkumarChakrabarti.Thisisawell-equippedlaboratorywithvariousba-sicandappliedresearchfacilitiesforbothphysicalandcognitiveergonomics. Apart from equipment for traditional ergonomicsevaluation,modernsophisticatedequipmentarealsoavailableforvirtualergonomicsevaluationandcognitiveworkloadstudy.
