Our client Stephanie Barnes Interior Design Studio has been awarded with the 2014-15 America's Property Awards for Interior Design Private Residence for their work on Umoya (Place of Wind) at the Apes Hill Club, Barbados. !LightStar is pleased to have provided ass is tance in the l i gh t ing des ign , specifications and product supply for both lighting and fans !With a busy household and frequent visitors, the owners wanted to ensure that their environmental footprint could be minimised without compromising on lighting effects. To

answer this need, all lighting was specified with LED fixtures that could deliver the highest energy efficiency while maximising output. !Features included in this project were purpose built, fully dimmable LED downlights that provide smooth transition to almost zero percent with 2700k colour consistency, high CRI and equivalent lumens output to a 50w halogen. Also used were concealed linear, spots, security and landscape LEDs and designer decorative ranges for suspension, pendant, wall and floor lamps. !In her capacity as designer, Stephanie Barnes wanted to ensure that the lighting and fans supported her unique vision for the property, delivered durability and could be sourced within budget.
