Why?

After Jesus talks with the Samaritan woman

at the well, she runs into her town and says,

“Come, see…” Many in the town believed —

because of the woman’s testimony.

These healthcare witnesses go where we cannot go!

To date, over 11,000 Christian healthcare witnesses in over 74 countries are trained to capture

moments with their patients—all with permission, sensitivity and respect. They are, in essence, saying

Come, see. They have been trained by our healthcare witness training, the Saline Process.

The Saline Online Community is open for business!

A healthcare witness in South Africa can now communicate with a witness

in Siberia. (Yes, we are training witnesses in Siberia!) Trainers can

communicate with the witnesses they have trained. Global trainers can

communicate with regional trainers. And they can do it in 81 languages!

Training materials are available in 21 languages. Video refresher training,

news, stories and prayer are available to all the 11,000 trained

healthcare witnesses.

Cannot Go!

Greetings in the Mighty Name of Jesus,

As I look back upon this year, I am immediately reminded of

your prayers, financial gifts and continual interest in the

work of IHS Global. It is with gratitude that I write.

We continue to utilize the amazing opportunities of indigenous

Christian healthcare workers to share the love and reality of

Jesus with patients around the world. Training continues in

cooperation with the International Saline Partnership.

We can invest much work and energy, but it is the movement of God that:

Raises up indigenous leaders and trainers,

Envisions healthcare workers and sets a fire beneath them, and

Keeps a covenant partnership of organizations working together.

Let me give you an example of God multiplying efforts. Rajan, a physician from

Sri Lanka (island south of India) came to India for training as a healthcare witness and

to be equipped as a trainer of healthcare witnesses. Soon after, he had the

opportunity to meet with ministry colleagues in Pakistan (northwest border of India).

While there, he trained healthcare workers in four different Christian hospitals.

Rajan is a member of our partner organization, Healthcare Christian Fellowship

International.

The work of IHS Global is expanding through:

Expansion initiatives in India, Sub-Sahara Africa and the Middle East in 2015,

Strategic planning by our indigenous leaders for expansion in Russia,

Expansion into Pakistan, Israel, Malawi, Ivory Coast, Ecuador this past year,

Plans for Australian and New Zealand leaders to reach throughout Oceania,

Continuing work in Central and South America, the Caribbean and Europe and

Several trainings in the U.S.

As I close, let me remind you of our gratitude. May you know the comfort of the Lord

and be encouraged by Him in this coming year.

Healthcare Witness Training

The Saline Process, our

healthcare witness training

equips and mobilizes Christian

healthcare workers as witnesses

for Christ. Once trained these

Christian healthcare workers have a

lifetime of ministry ahead of them.

On-the-ground (face-to face)

training followed throughout the

years by internet networking

provides follow-up training,

resources, community and prayer

are the keys to ongoing ministry.

The Saline Process includes

Training-of-Trainers (TOT) which

equips trained witnesses to, in

turn, train other Christian

colleagues in their region or

locality. A network of trainers—

global, regional and local—is being

built. The goal? For patients to hear

about the love and reality of Jesus.

Gábor Győri, M.D. Becomes

Executive Director of Ministry

IHS Global welcomed Gábor Győri to

his new position as Executive

Director of Ministry in June. God

first called him to the work of the

Saline Process in 1999 in Hungary.

Dr. Győri has practiced medicine in

his native country of Hungary for 23

years - 18 of those years in Family

Medicine. During 14 of these years,

he served as a

teaching

physician at

Semmelweis

University

Medical School.

He also has

experience in the pharmaceutical

industry (Upjohn). Since 1999,

Dr. Győri has trained healthcare

witnesses and witness trainers, as

well as mentoring and coaching

within the Saline Process worldwide

network.
