Welcome
Elaine’s story Wayne Carmichael
Hymn:
How great Thou art, Whakaaria mai
O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hand hath made,
I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed,
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How Great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Whakaaria mai
Tou ripeka ki au
Tiaho mai
Ra roto i te po
Hei kona au
Titiro atu ai
Ora, mate,
Hei au koe noho ai
Show
your cross to me.
Let it shine
there in the darkness.
To there I
will be looking.
In life, in death,
let me rest in thee.

Homily
Prayers for those who mourn
The serenity prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
The Lords Prayer
Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory
for ever and ever. Amen.
Hymn:
All things bright and beautiful All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their tiny wings. The purple headed mountain
The river running by
The sunset and the morning
That brightens up the sky;
. The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one:
He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell,
How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.

and watch us where we go
And help us to be wise,
in times when we don’t know
Let this be our prayer
when we lose our way
Lead us to the place,
guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe
