Rhode Island Greening Apples – USA.
Rhode Island Greening Apples-Rhode Island USA
The Rhode Island Greening allegedly originated around 1650 near Green End’s in Newport, Rhode Island (in modern day Middletown) . The first Greenings were allegedly grown by a Mr. Green who operated a tavern and developed apple trees from seed.
Green Apples…
Green gave many scions from the tree to visitors for grafting elsewhere, and the original tree died. The apples became known as Green's Inn apples from Rhode Island. One of the oldest surviving trees was located on Mt. Hygeia farm in Foster, Rhode Island at the turn of the twentieth century.[1] The Rhode Island Greening was one of the most popular apples grown in New York in the nineteenth century.[2]
Avocado - USA
The avocado (Persea americana), aguacate or palta (Spanish), butter pear or alligator pear, is a tree native to the Caribbean, Mexico,[1] South America and Central America, classified in the flowering plant family Lauraceae along with cinnamon, camphor and bay laurel.

The name "avocado" also refers to the fruit (technically a large berry that contains a large seed[2]) of the tree which may be egg-shaped or spherical.
