Set up Fiori on your mobile device Budget holders can complete a number of tasks using three SAP Fiori apps on their
mobile, tablet and/or computer without the need to log into the SAP system. Giving
our staff the flexibility to approve requisitions and view cost centre data anytime,
anywhere.
1. Locate your phone/device web browser
1b. Type in and search the following web address in the
search bar at the top of your web browser
‘https://dmuhub.dmu.ac.uk’
2. If you get the following message about “Certificates”
select CANCEL. You may need to press this a couple of
times before the message disappears.

3. On the following screen you will be taken to
the ‘Single Sign-On’ screen which you will be
familiar with as a member of staff at DMU.
Enter your details as if you were sat in your
office at work!
4. Once you have logged in you will see the
following screen
Select the grey box with the white cross in the
middle to advance to the next screen which will
display your applications.

5. Welcome to the DMU hub launch page.
The white squares you see are the apps
that you have access to. This will be
dependent on your level of authorisation.
Please be aware that not all apps are on phones, tablets and desktop.
Approve Requisition – Phone, tablet & Desktop
Cost Centre – Desktop only
My Spend – Desktop and tablet only
More apps will be available for releases 2 and 3. We’ll keep you informed as
they are released.

Additional Personalisation Steps
The following steps will show you how to create a short-cut on your mobile devices
workspace/home screens. Doing this will eliminate having to follow steps 1-5 again.
Instead you will be able to select the short-cut which will take you straight to the
Single Sign-On screen, effectively saving you time on steps 1 & 2.
Creating a short-cut on an Android Device
1. Whilst on the page shown in step 5. Select the
menu icon in the top right corner of the screen. This is
represented by the 3 vertical dots. (Google chrome)
On the (Standard Phone Web Browser) this icon is
represented by the ‘More’ button
2. You will then see the following list of options. You
want to click on the ‘Add shortcut on home screen’
option.
*You may be asked if you would like to add a custom
name to your short-cut. You can name your shortcut
to your desire so that you can easily identify it.

3. Your shortcut to the DMU Fiori site will appear on
your home screen/workspace.
Creating a short-cut on an Apple Device
1. Whilst on the ‘Launch page’
shown in step 5. Select the menu
icon in the top right corner of the
screen. This is represented by the
rectangle and arrow. (Safari
browser)

2. When you select the menu icon
you will see a selection of options
associated to the web page.
You want to select ‘Add to Home
Screen’

3. Once you have selected
‘Add to home screen’ you will
be prompted to rename your
shortcut. In this case I have
named it ‘SAP Fiori’. Once
you have named it something
meaningful please select the
‘Add’ button in the top right
corner of the box
4. Your shortcut to the SAP Fiori application
will be created and displayed onto your apple
devices home screen.
