SERVING SIZE
• Serving size depends on age, gender, and level of activity.
• Boys ages 9-13 = 1 ½ cups of fruit per day
• Girls ages 9-13 = 1 ½ cups of fruit per day
• What is a cup of fruit equal to?
• 1 small apple
• 1 large banana

• Girls ages 9-13 should have 2 cups per serving

• Dark green vegetables(Broccoli, spinach)= 1 cup chopped, or 2 cups raw
• Carrots= 2 medium sized
