In the 1st Malaysian Quality Evaluation Systems for Private Colleges (MyQUEST), an evaluation carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, SEGi Subang Jaya was one of only three colleges in Malaysia to be awarded the highest 6-star rating in the overall college-based category, depicting an outstanding performance.

The Diploma in Tourism Management gives you an understanding of theoretical concepts and strategies for a tourism business environment.

You will learn how to apply this valuable knowledge and skills gained from the core tourism courses through case studies, research and industry-based projects. During the course you will broaden your knowledge of the many different service providers that contribute to the travel and tourism industry such as the tour and travel operators, hotels & resorts, airlines and visitor attractions.

The Diploma in Culinary Arts at SEGi takes only 2 years and 4 months to complete, inclusive of internship and training time. The advantage of studying at SEGi is that there is a very conducive environment for learning and students are given maximum attention from lecturers.

The programme is structured to train its students to think like an entrepreneur or owner of a restaurant, giving graduates a great competitive edge instead of being limited to only employee status after graduation.

What is the competitive edge of this diploma as compared with diplomas from other colleges? The SEGi Diploma in Culinary Arts is incorporated with the Malaysian Skills Certifi cate (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia-SKM) and is priced very competitively. The programme has a comprehensive syllabus taught by very experienced lecturers and instructors. Apart from the new kitchen, students have an F&B service area to practise their skills. Some of the course components which make the programme stand out from other diploma programmes in the market are the Malaysian Skills Certifi cate modules up to Level 2, basic and advanced pastry learning, international and local cooking module, and Gastronomy Studies.

In the 1st Malaysian Quality Evaluation Systems for Private Colleges (MyQUEST), an evaluation carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, SEGi Subang Jaya was one of only three colleges in Malaysia to be awarded the highest 6-star rating in the overall college-based category, depicting an outstanding performance.

In addition, SEGi scored 6-star ratings for 5 of the 9 cluster-based categories, the MOST for any education group:• Arts & Humanities (SEGi Subang Jaya)• Science, Mathematics & Computing (SEGi KL)• Health and Welfare (SEGi KL)• Services (SEGi KL)• International Student Readiness (SEGi KL)
