• To promote e-Science research and development in a broad area encompassing Wales
• To encourage the exploitation of e-Science ICT technologies
• To pursue research focusing in the following areas:
– data and knowledge management and interoperation of heterogeneous distributed information resources.
– problem-solving environments for scientific and engineering applications.
– distributed visualization for immersive and collaborative applications.
