Quy Nguyen graduated from Hue University in 1995 and received his BA Degree in Englishand from Ha Noi University in 2005 with a BA in Tourism. His 20 years of experience in the tourism fieldbegan as a tour guide. He then worked for Huong Giang Travel Company in Hue City until June 2012.As Director of Huong Giang Travel he received “Vietnam’s Top Ten Tour Operator” Awards for four years.He founded HGH Travel and is currently the Chairman and Executive Director.

Quy’s highest personal recognition was when he received the Certificate of Merits from Vietnam’s Prime Minister.

VIETNAMThe Khmer Empire of the 9th to the 15th centuries is long gone as

a living culture but Cambodia is blessed with the remains ofmany magnificent buildings in the 400 square kilometer site

that forms the Angkor Archaeological Park. The Angkor Wat andAngkor Thom sites as well as numerous smaller but no less

magnificent buildings were part of the Park that wasthe largest pre-industrial city in the world.

Siem Reap acts as the gateway to Angkor Park but is a charming town in itself.

In the central area, is the capital of Phnom Penh. Further south, you find beautiful unspoilt beaches flanking the Gulf of Thailand.

Cambodia is a beautiful country to visit where tourists will receivethe open friendliness and welcome of the Cambodian people.

CAMBODIA

MYANMARMyanmar is still often known as Burma. Myanmar's history isa glorious mishmash of settlers and invaders from all fronts

over the past centuries that shapes the architecture,character and the way of life today.

The strong Indian influences are intertwined with local traditionsand tinged with influences from China. This can be evidenced

in the various stupas and temples throughout the country,which bear a distinct resemblance to those in northern India.

Like neighboring Thailand, Theravada Buddhism isthe single largest religion, and even some of the most remote villages

will have a village temple for people to pray at.Closed to the world at large for many years,

Myanmar is a country of mystery and wonderwhich has now opened its doors for the more adventurous traveler.

LAOSThe official name is Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) but it is said that an alternative meaning of PDR is “Please Don’t Rush”. And this rather sums up the locals and the way of life in Laos. The cosmopolitan capital of Vientiane is relaxed, laid-back and charming. Tourists can take a walking tour of the major sites of temples, museums and monuments before meandering in the open spaces along the side ofthe magnificent Mekong River. Going north, the Unesco World Heritage City of Luang Prabang offers splendid temples, Colonial Era architecture,excellent range of food, vibrant night market and much more. The mountainous north and the flatlands of the south offer much for the more adventurous traveler who wants to experience the varied and beautiful rural Laos.
