The club was formed to facilitate interest in professional development, volunteerism, community relations, attending conferences and conventions and in getting professional memberships. 2001 Sport promotions for Webber International University Athletic Department- Worked jointly advising sport management club and the athletic department to allow students to direct promotions for athletic contests. 1998- Curriculum Update- Researched other schools and suggested courses by 2001 NASSM/NASPE to update Webber International University curriculum. Met with local business advisory council to attain input from leaders within the Sport Management Field. Made changes and additions to the program based upon the findings. 1999 Polk County Sports Marketing Meetings- Served as a Webber 2001 International University representative to meetings. Met with sport

management business professionals every two months. Networked and created relationships with sport management professionals, including the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, AAU.
