Healthy Lunch Ideas• Instead of pizza or chicken nuggets, try a turkey

or peanut butter sandwich on whole-grain bread

• Have veggies with every lunch.– Try carrot sticks, a small salad or cut up veggies with

dip

• Don’t forget your milk! Low-fat/skim white or chocolate milk is a great addition to any lunch.

• Instead of chips or ice cream, have a piece of fruit. Apple slices, bananas, oranges and pears are tasty and easy to bring to school.

• Always choose milk or 100% juice. Avoid sodas and other sugary drinks.
