Harrah's Rincon Casino in Valley Center, California, recently completed anextensive remodel of the original hotel, TheGarden Tower. “We are delighted with theresults of our remodeling project and lookforward to sharing it with the SouthernCalifornia community,” stated Vice President of Marketing Mike Stratton. “Webelieve that our guests will love the additionsto the rooms, such as the plasma televi-sions, contemporary new furnishings andwall coverings, plus the private patios on the ground floor roomsof our Garden Tower. We truly believe we've taken the best andhave made it even better for our guests.”

Construction on the remodeling project began in September2007 and was completed earlier this year. The project replaced theoriginal Garden Tower lobby and office area with three additional

rooms, bringing the room count for the Garden Tower to 203, and the total roomcount for the resort to 656. Luxurious newfurniture, carpeting, wall coverings andplasma televisions have been installed in eachroom of the Garden Tower. Extensive workwas done on the first floor, where the 17 poollevel rooms have been fitted out with new private patios, enclosed with planter walls andmetal trellis systems. And each pool levelsuite now has new sunken private spas.

The Garden Tower pool area includes a new pool deck complete with two new spas, four private cabanas, a new waterfeature, fire pits with built-in seating benches and planters, anda lush landscaping scheme. Work has also been completed ona new state-of-the-art junior ballroom, located on the secondfloor of the Spa Tower.

Angel of the Winds Casino Begins $44 Million Expansion

Angel of the Winds Casino in Arlington, Washington, hasbegun construction of a $44 million dollar expansion adding over84,000 sq. ft. to the existing property. This is the first major expansion for the property since opening in October of 2004.

General Manager Travis O’Neil said, “This is a greatopportunity for the Stillaguamish Tribe and our team. Wehave listened to our guests and our expansion will providethem with the expanded services and amenities theyrequested along with our commitment to being the“Worlds Friendliest Casino.”

The new amenities will include a 150 seat full servicerestaurant, gift shop, lounge with live entertainment,expanded gaming including more slots, tables, keno and

poker rooms. The casino is looking to add over 250 new teammembers to their payroll which will increase their staff toover 500. Angel of the Winds is expecting to open Phase II inthe late winter of 2008.

New Events Center Opens at Seneca Allegany Casino & HotelThe latest development at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel

in Salamanca, New York is open for business. The new state-of-the-art Seneca Allegany Events Center hosted its first concert last month when The Blues Brothers, featuring DanAykroyd and Jim Belushi, took the stage.

“This is the next great step in the development of this wonderful resort facility,” said Brian Hansberry, Presidentand CEO, Seneca Gaming Corporation. “The addition of a regular schedule of world-class entertainment to our alreadypopular casino and hotel will elevate Seneca Allegany Casino& Hotel to new heights and introduce even more people to thisjewel in the hills of Salamanca.” In fact a national television audience received a glimpse of the new venue when ESPN2broadcasts its popular Friday Night Fights series live fromSeneca Allegany Casino & Hotel on March 28.

The performance area accommodates more than 2,300people and is located in the area where the original temporarycasino facility was housed. The casino operation was transferredinto the new $160 million Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotelfacility when it opened last year.

Crews began converting the former casino area into the newentertainment venue in the fall and completed the $40 millionproject last month. In addition to the Events Center, the

conversion project also included 21,500 sq. ft. of professionalmeeting and conference space, as well as administrative and support space for casino operations.
