Complimentary Angles
• Angles that equal 90 degrees. ( right angle.)• The 2 numbers showing, add up to 90; which
makes a right angle.
Linear Pairs
The two supplementary adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines
Adjacent angles are being formed by the
intersecting lines.
Alternate Exterior Angles
• When two lines are crossed by another line the pairs of angles on opposite sides of the transversal but outside the two lines are called Alternate Exterior Angles
• The angles on opposite sides, and on the outside are the Alternate Exterior
Angles.
Perpendicular Lines
• Lines that are at right angles (90°) to each other.
• The right angles in this image or perpendicular lines.
