Anticipation This is the invitation I have designed for
My guests at my grand opening. I will have
A guest count of around 100 people. These will
Be people such as photographers, caterers,
And magazine editors, along with friends
And family and potential clients.
AnticipationA month before my grand opening I will attend
A bridal show with a booth and there I will hand
Out business cards along with invitations for
Potential clients to attend my grand opening with
The groom. I could not think of a better way to
Kick off my business.
ArrivalUpon Arrival the guests will walk down a pink
Carpet leading into the store front. I want my
Guests to feel like they are V.I.P, because thats
Who they are.
Arrival As soon as my guests make their way down
The pink carpet and into my store they will
See a beautiful table with a glamorous
Centerpiece and glasses of champagne with
Either their name if they are a vendor or
Bride and groom if they are a couple.
AtmosphereWhen my guests walk into my store for
They very first time I want them to feel
Calm and stress free, no bad energy
Aloud. Therefore the aroma of sage and
Lavender will fill the air with some music
Playing. I am the one hired to stress, therefore I don’t want anyone else too.
AtmosphereI will have my mood boards blown up
On a stand for people to view my design
Taste and my work. In the back I will
Also have a table set up with a beautiful
Center piece that I will personally design
And contracts will be on that same table, there will be another table with other party favors as well.
Appetite The very beginning of my grand opening when everyone is
Arriving, There will be a cocktail hour with champagne
And finger foods. The music will be playing while
Everyone is free to eat, drink, and make conversation
With each other.
Amusement For the amusement aspect of my A8
Formula I will put a dj in the corner of the
Boutique and play calming low music in the
First cocktail hour, and then I will be
Announced and say a few words about my
Business. After my speech the DJ will play party music for an open dance floor.
AppreciationAs a parting gift for my couples who attended my
Grand opening, they have the option of receiving
free Day of service if they sign a contract with me
That Night. I will set up a back table with all my
Package options and contracts for them to read
And sign if they wish.
Appreciation As an appreciation gift for everyone, not just
Couples, is a bath bomb and a bottle of wine.
Same reason I sage the building with lavender,
I want my guests to feel relaxed and stress free,
What better way to relax then a bottle of wine
And a bubble bath!
AttireFor my grand opening I plan on wearing
Something that I believe reflects my personal
Style along with the style of my business. I love
This outfit as an idea for a grand opening. Its
Professional and glamorous, which is the image
I want for both me and my business.
Accessories I will have many centerpieces on display during
My grand opening party to display my work.
The colors will be hot pink and black just like
The color pallet for my business, after all the
Day is all about Till Death Do Us Part.
Short EssayThe reason I chose what I did for my A6/A8 formula is because I want my grand opening
to be glamorous and professional. That is the look I am going for; not only my business but my reputation as a wedding planner as well. I put the sage, the bath bomb and the wine as a way of telling my future clients, vendors, and my guests that they should not stress. I don’t mean just for the night either, I mean for the whole wedding planning process, I don’t want stress to bring negative emotion at any point in time, even says so in my mission statement “making the stepping stones in your life a beautiful memory and stress free!”
Till Death Do Us Part is not a selfish company, I have chosen two charities to give to, I had chosen these charities based on my past experiences in my lifetime.
Short Essay ContinuedOne of the charities is “SOS children’s villages.” This is a charity for children who are orphans and need all the love and support they can get. In this charity you sponsor a child, and all the money goes to a loving home for the child with a trained SOS mother, a quality education, food, medical care, and other basic needs, and care from trained educators and social workers. I chose this charity due to the fact that I was born and partly raised in an orphanage. The second charity I have chosen is the “Not for sale fund.” This is a non profit charity for people who are forced into modern day slavery, aka human trafficking. All the money goes to funds to help the rescued people get rehabilitated into society. I chose this charity because I am a product of modern day slavery.

Off of canva. I decided to not put an address
Because one I don’t have one just yet, and also
I felt not comfortable putting my home address on a business card.

I officially start working weddings and have a job,

A new business has opened up called “Till Death Do Us Part.” What makes this business so unique is that they do both weddings and funerals! Business owner Selena W is a certified wedding and event planner, and certified mortician and embalmer. She can both Marry you and bury you. “I believe both events are huge stepping stones in life, and the after life, I would like to be a guide to those who are lost and don't know how to get over these happy and sad times in life.” stated Selena business owner.
Press Release/ Blog continuedYou can attend the grand opening of “Till Death Do Us Part” on November 25th 2017 at the boutique in downtown LA. Admission is free, however you must present an invitation. How might you get one you may ask? Nina, the business owner will be having a booth at a bridal show this weekend where she will be handing out invitations, be there if you would like to attend! There will be food, music, dancing, and contract signings! Trust me when I say, if glam and sophisticated is your style then Nina is the one you want to plan your wedding.
