Chaplain White has requested the following dates
for Strong Bonds for our Couples and Singles.
Know that these are not solid dates at this time,
but a request. Please annotate them on your cal-
endar and check back with your 1SG to make
sure these are good dates.

Tickets are still available! Visit Parks and Recreation to
get your tickets for Fort Drum Rides The River August
30 in Clayton, NY. Tickets are on sale from July 30 -
August 29 at the Family and MWR window on the sec-
ond floor of Clark Hall...and at Parks and Recreation
for $5 per adult ticket and $3 for children between the
ages of 6-12. Children 5 years of age and younger can
enjoy the day for free with no ticket necessary. Each
ticket includes admission to the Antique Boat Museum,
children’s activities, a narrated boat ride on the St.
Lawrence River by Clayton Area Tours, a barbecue pic-
nic lunch at the museum river shed, a ride on the trol-
ley to explore the village of Clayton, and bus shuttle
transportation. The bus will leave Magrath Sports Com-
plex at 9 and 10 am, noon, and 1 pm and return shut-
tles will leave Clayton at 1, 2, 3, and 4 pm. Family and
MWR is not responsible for the transportation of ex-
penses incurred by individuals who fail to ride the last
bus back to Fort Drum leaving Clayton at 4 pm. Call

Attention! Road Closure at Entrance to Le Ray Drive off of Oneida Ave from 16 August 2012 to 21 Septem-
ber 2012. Intersection will be closed due to lowering of the road. Detour signs will be posted on Le Ray Drive and Oneida Ave directing traffic. Unpaved Road coming out of Le Ray Drive on the right will be assessable for use during road closure. The temporary road will be maintained daily. If you have any questions please ask. Road Closure at the intersection of Tigris River Valley Road and Oneida Ave on Saturday 18 Au-gust 2012 starting at 5:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Road is being closed due to removal of old rail road bed and tracks and repairing of road. Road closure signs will detour traffic down Hale Road and down Oneida Ave to Euphrates River Valley Road. If you have any questions or con-cerns please contact Jeffrey Carroll @ 772-3480.
