individual behavior and explain why.– Identify possible coping skills that will help cadets
maintain personal values.– Define Honor, Duty, and Respect.
• Condition: 50-minute classroom training session
• Standard: Successful completion of Ethics in Action post-test and required essay

In small groups, do the following:
1. Brainstorm a list of values that fits your group. (Examples: honesty, fairness, loyalty)
2. Report on a few values from your list.

In small groups, discuss the following:
1. How does life in the barracks influence cadet values? (Does barracks life strengthen those values? weaken them? change them?)
2. How/why does this occur?
Share your group’s ideas with the class.
