• All the components shall be pre-assembled in metallic frames (skids)– Maximum dimensions : 14m x 2.5 m x 3 m– 15 tons
• Control and electrical cabinets will also be pre-assembled– Space will be leaved for the PLC and the terminal blocks provided by
CERN.
• The insulation shall be protected with an stainless steel cover.

Delivery, installation and commissioning at CERN
Delivery and installation• Transport and handling of
the system to CERN Point 1 (Switzerland)
• The installation shall be performed by the contractor.
• The contractor staff shall have the adequate training. CERN will provide its domain-specific training.
Commissioning• Done in collaboration
between CERN and the supplier.
• CERN will provide the pre-tested program (according to the functional analysis).
• CERN will provide a dummy load for the tests phase.

Maintenance• Maintenance– Preventive maintenance plan and spare parts list
provided by the contractor.– The Preventive Maintenance Plan shall be done
during nominal operation at full power
The chiller units shall be electrically independent including instrumentation

– Documentation in English or French.
– In a computer readable and editable form
