Flexible solutions for your oil and gas needs
We are an indigenous company that provide innovative solutions for
oil and gas clients in areas of:
Efficient and cost effective pigging / ILI technology
Non piggable pipeline support, flow assurance and validation
Emergency pipeline repair systems and solutions (EPRS)
Efficient valve integrity and maintenance solution
Engineering procurement installation, construction and
commissioning (EPICC)
Risk exposure to unplanned repairs on transport systems
(onshore, swamps, shallow & deep water)
Minimize overall downtime on their critical lines
Independent impartial advice on integrity (procedures, prices
etc.)
Our business is pipeline and valve engineering and integrity.
Throughout the lifecycle, we deliver practical engineering and
project management solutions to tough engineering,
inspection, repair and maintenance problems.
PULSE bridges the divide between vendors and operators - ensuring that plans,
tenders, and contracts for valves and pipeline risk management, are
commercially sound and technically to the point. Our personnel have extensive
experience working for a wide range of leading companies across all disciplines,
and we transfer this detailed understanding of the industry to our customers.
Because we are independent of any type of equipment, technology or service
within the inspection, repair and maintenance market we always provide:
The most advantageous and financially attractive solutions.

INDEPENDENT RISK MANAGEMENT
We strengthen and support our clients’ capabilities through
independence, our problem solving approach is always
tailored to our client’s requirements rather than that of any
tool manufacturer.
We make sure that operators experience the least overall downtime during
steady state operations, and they achieve earliest possible re-commissioning
during an unplanned repair. As specialists in planning the repair and
maintenance of complex pipeline systems we translate plans into action.
Whether it is project managing valve repair, conducting piggability studies,
carrying out RCA on a valve, or designing cleaning runs for In-Line Inspection or
throughput optimization, our highly-experienced subsea, valve, pipeline and
intervention specialists ensure that plans are inherently practical, whilst
adhering to the toughest technical standards.

PULSE-IRMS combines extensive practical experience with the
latest developments in safety, quality and performance. We
have the expertise you seek and an intimate understanding of
the contexts you operate in.
Whether it is to meet a specific technical need, or an extra pair of experienced
hand is required, we provide engineers and project managers – absolute
specialists- for services covering the entire pipeline lifecycle. Our engagement
begins with pre-commissioning, and continues all the way through to extension-
of-life and decommissioning activities. During operations, we provide owner’s
engineering for spool piece design, tie-backs to existing infrastructure, and
modification works such as temporary pig traps. We review and verify pigging
and repair procedures, and provide support services for the intervention.

PIPELINE SERVICES
PIPELINE PIGGING TECHNOLOGY
Pathfinder has been developed for the first stage assessment of operational
pipelines prior to the use of metal-bodied pigs. It can be used in conjunction
with standard foam cleaning pigs to prove the bore of pipelines with
unknown internal conditions, including:
New and operational pipelines which have not previously been pigged
Operational pipelines which have suffered damage due to external
interference but are inaccessible for external inspection
Operational pipelines with unknown levels and distributions of wax or
scale deposits.
Multiple pipeline flaw detection
(such as buckles, dents, mitre
bends or excess weld
penetration)
Pipeline flaw data – indication of
position & size upon data

High resolution sensor system –
sensitive for detecting gauge
disc deflection
PIPELINE PIGGING TECHNOLOGY
0 - 600 bar input pressure range
with an over-pressure rating of
1200 bar.
Maximum operating water
depth of 300m (proof tested to
500m)
Four digit display with a
resolution of 0.1 bar
Gauge accuracy of better than
1%
Powered by internal batteries
with a capability of over 500
display activations.
The gauge housing is
manufactured from stainless
steel to ensure a robust product
suited to its working
environment.
We offer a range of specialized products and services
specifically designed to support pipeline construction,
commissioning and cleaning operations around the world. We
have recently provided caliper equipment and services for
offshore projects in Australia, Indonesia, Angola, Egypt (The
Nile Delta), Italy and the North Sea.
The pathfinder foam caliper and gauging pig for bore proving and
measurement of scale and wax deposits
A dual/multi-diameter electronic gauging pig with acoustic transmission of
pass or fail for each pipe diameter
A subsea digital pressure gauge for monitoring hydrotest operations on
subsea pipelines.
