ABOUT THE PROJECT
To sense & feed the different proportion of different
raw materials to the any plant.
Also using HMI to set the proportion of feed.
Load sensors which sense the weight of the raw
material in the main hoper.
Temperature will be measured before the material
moves on under the uncertain conditions feed will be
stopped.

APPLICATION OF PROJECT:Since this is an industrial based project and is widely
used in heavy industries where a product is formed by the
mixing of different materials in different proportionalitydepending upon the requirements of the plant and
demands of the consumers.

Delta PLC Siemens PLC
Cost effective as compared to
Siemens.
No need of separate powersupply, CPU, separate input
modules & separate output
modules even analog I/Os isalso in the single package .
User friendly , software is
easily available & easy to
understand.
Much expensive.
In Siemens power supply,CPU, Input cards & outputcards separately each &every thing should bepurchased for ourapplication there would be
again useless I/Os afterpurchasing separate cards.
Complex as compared toDelta often software is notavailable & difficult to use.

DELTA PLC(DVP20EX2T with extension module
DVP16XP211R) It is cost effective.
Programming and usage
of Delta PLC is user
friendly. Easy tounderstand.
It has many built in
functions.

Load cells are often classified by their outershape. Classifications include the can type, the
S type, the washer type, and the beam type.

LOAD CELL WORKING & CALIBRATION W.R.T THEPROJECT
Principle is based on 1mv/v or 2mv/v. In our project the2ndoption is suitable. if the load sensor is of 10V Dc
then maximum output it can produce will be
2x10=20mv
& minimum output will be0x10=0mv
We can now plot the linear graph of the output of the
load cell if the capacity of the load cell is 10Kg let say
then20mv=10kg 16mv=8kg
12mv=6 kg 8mv =4kg
4mv=2kg 0mv=0kg

RTD(PT100) WORKING & CALIBRATION W.R.TTHE PROJECT
RTD changes its resistance as temperature changes.
PT100 has its resistance 100at 0C & 138.4at100Cthe response is approximately linear with respect to
temperature. For PT100 for every 1C change in temperature the
change in resistance is 0.384.
We can plot the graph by using this equation
where Ro=100.

This is the basic IR circuit
design.
We have used two transistors
2222A to operate the relay.

Gate valves are used to open or
close way of material.
For example: If it uses five
rotation to close/open. We can
count the rotation by IR sensor. We are using DC gear motor to
operate valve and through the
PLC we can manage the
rotation of motor. In this waywe are using this valve.
