Brief Pro�le:Dr Prathima Radhakrishnan is trained in fetal medicine from Harris Birthright Research Centre for fetal medicine at King’s College Hospital, London. Dr Radhakrishnan is the �rst Indian to earn a Diploma in Fetal Medicine from the Fetal Medicine Foundation, UK. She is very passionate about training doctors in fetal ultrasound to international standards and her special interests are in fetal therapy, early diagnosis of fetal abnormalities and pre-pregnancy counseling for fetal anomalies.

FUP Onsite The Onsite course is for delegates, who live in Bangalore or Delhi and would like an immersive, onsite experience. It includes a mandatory10 days observer-ship.

The Fetal Ultrasound Program (FUP)FUP is a 16 module training course, which enables delegates to perform obstetric scans better and allow for improved understanding of the evolution of fetal anomalies and their management.

FUP will enable delegates to perform fetal anomoly scans to international standards and equip them with the required skills to acquire the FMF (UK) certification. Training consists of video demonstrations along with review of normal and abnormal cases enabling delegates to understand the presentation of various anomalies and management of the same.

The FUP is unique because: • Each delegate can submit 600+ fetal scan images online at regular intervals for objective review and feedback. • The program is designed for practicing imaging specialists to participate without any interruption of their regular practice. • On signing up for FUP 2014-15 training, ‘First Step’ training will be made available free of cost to delegates. It is a self-paced on-line training program covering unique and important aspects of effective fetal scan for early detection of anomalies.

Prerequisites for FUP• Sonologists need to be performing at least 10 obstetric scans/week, including NT and anomaly scans. • A prior PNDT machine registration is compulsory, for sonologists practicing in India. • A successful completion of FImA online course 'First Step'.

Application process• Delegates may apply online for the training and submit the required documents• An online interview will be scheduled with delegate post review of the application • Upon approval delegates will be required to pay the course fee online
