Natural hazards - EOG315N : The study of the most important natural disasters occurring in the world by their various
categories: geological, air, water, geomorphology and biology, and geographically analyzed in terms of explaining the
causes, types, natural and human effects, and ways of confronting them, with recent examples
Environment Geography - EOG437N : ) Identifying the students in this course will recognize the environment as a complete system with all its natural and human characteristics. With a focus on the most important
problems of each environment and study applied, so that they have the ability to carry out research projects application full
aspects, and the development of a measure of the extent of the deterioration of the element or the environmental compound,
and familiarity with some methods and statistical equations that help to determine the size of any problem And the success of
God in how to deal with contemporary environmental issues and problems, and finding solutions in the light of the data of
the article (such as problems of air and water pollution and the rapid growth of the population which puts pressure on the
resources and facilities and the resulting problems of poverty and famine) ..... and others). And apply it with students on
daily life because they are the mothers of the future and with their hand, a generation that is environmentally friendly and
conservative.
Water Geography - GEOG317N : It includes the public water cycle on the surface of the earth, conventional and non-
conventional water resources, and an applied study of water resources in the Arab world in general and the Kingdom in
particular, and means of development of water resources. Human distribution maps-GEOG314N : Contains an introduction to distribution maps, their importance and types, and the
study of quantitative and quantitative maps, with practical application on each type (manual drawing and computer
programs).
Global Resource Geography- GEOG318N: The definition of the student resources in terms of the concept and nature and the
basis of classification and factors of existence and factors affecting the investment and geographical distribution of natural
and human resources at the global level with the experiences of States to invest their resources, also the definition of the
resources of the Kingdom and its importance locally and globally.

Biogeography and soil- GEOG314N : Contains bio-environmental studies in terms of their definition, their relation to other
sciences, the elements of the biosphere: soil, plants and animals, with interest to the vital regions of Saudi Arabia.
Graduation Research Project – GEOG443N : It includes training in the writing of scientific research in natural and human
geographical areas. The knowledge of the basics of scientific research and geographical knowledge is applied in general with
the use of modern techniques.
Introduction to Cartography : Contains an introduction to cartography, its development, map concept, map elements, how to
read and analyze natural and human phenomena in the map and types of maps.
Principles of Human Geography : It contains a preface on geography, its meanings, geographical schools, the development of
geography and its branches, models of the most important human activities and population study.
Natural resource geography: Resource Concepts, Resource Types, Resource Configuration, Resource Utilization, Models for
some Global Economical Resources. [
Population Geography : Population geography, demographics, development, branches, population theories, population
growth, population density, population structure, population policies
urbanization Geography : The definition of rural and urban urbanization, types, patterns, natural and human factors affecting
it, theories of urbanization.
