Tracks
Activities Monday– Civil Engineering. Tour of Southface “Green”
Building, Chevron Doraville fuel terminal, Georgia Aquarium,
CDC Pandemic Study, Air Microbiology Lab and Robotics Lab.
Tuesday– Transportation. Tour of Georgia Power Plant,
Hartsfield– Jackson International Airport, GA Department of
Transportation, Water Resources & MARTA Armour Rail Yard.
Wednesday– Architecture, Bio-Med Engr, and Electrical
Engineering. GE Electrical Grid Tour, GA Tech Architecture,
Mechanical Engineering Lab and Delta Flight Simulators.

Program
Participants will arrive on the Georgia Tech campus on Sunday,
June 1, and experience campus life through Friday, June 6.
Chaperoned
accommodations will be
provided in the Tech
dormitories. Three meals per
day will be provided as part of
the academy registration.
The daily schedule will consist of
activities related to a particular
STEM—engineering or science
discipline— Electrical,
Industrial, Bio Medical, ITE,
Astronomy, Transportation,
Mechanical, Civil, Sciences,
Architecture, Aeronautical.
Activities Thursday– Aeronautical, Manufacturing and Software Engineering. Visit the GA Tech ECE Lab, GTRI Energy Tour, GT Admissions & Coop departments & Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Plant Tour.
Friday– Industrial and Systems Engineering. Presentation from GT Presidential Scholars, behind the scenes tour of Six Flags and Gala Closing Banquet with notable industry Speakers.
Additional Activities– Students will attend a Braves Game, “Dinner with a Professional” presentations and enjoy Six Flags Theme Park. The tours and activities may differ due to schedule and time
commitments.
