INFORMATION
Since its first edition in 2009, El Cid’s Weekend has been very much geared towards family audiences, making it an ideal event for families as many of its activities are de-signed and endowed with content especially for them.
Thanks to the work carried out during these eleven years, the National Federation of Large Families (FEFN) has awarded El Cid’s Weekend with the Family Tourism Seal.
Many of its activities are designed to suit the needs of families, which is an attraction for them, as well as a di-fferent way of entering our history, through games and entertainment. The families will thus be able to spend
a weekend in a city full of charms like Burgos, whose historic centre is transformed into a gigantic medieval stage in which they meet and along with the possibility of participating in medieval games, workshops, tourna-ments, conferences, parades, theatre and music shows, historical recreations, among others; countless activities in which children and adults can participate as they are adapted to all age groups.
A unique family tourism event.
