A simplification: The DPWM takes the control word from the compensator and generates the signals for GH and GL, for each phase.
PID Calculation: using the programmed constants from the PID registers, computes weighted
sum of the:
• Proportional value - the reaction to the present error
• Integral value - the reaction based on the sum of recent errors
• Derivative value - the reaction based on the rate-of-change of the error
