He’s lived in Fair Oaks, Cottonwood, and evenCameron Park. Hector has a degree in BusinessAdministration. He worked for Aerojet for 3years in the Controller’s Office and Sam’sRestaurant for over 16 years. He also owned hisown Arcade business. Hector was married to hislate wife, Tencia, for over 62 years. They have 3sons, 2 daughters, 11 grandchildren, and 12great-grandchildren! In his spare time, he lovesto read.

Bottle Cap BloomsRecycle used bottle caps into pretty
garden art.Materials:• Seven bottle caps (metal or plastic)• Hot glue gun and glue• Wooden skewer• Small paintbrush• Craft paint, various colors• Acrylic spray sealerDirections:Arrange the bottle caps in a flower
shape, with one cap in the middle andthe remaining caps as the petals. Be sureall the caps face the same direction, withthe flat sides forming the front of theflower. Carefully glue the caps together,then glue the wooden skewer to the backof the flower. Let dry.
Paint the front of the flower “petals”in the colors and patterns of your choice.Apply multiple coats as needed. Oncedry, spray the flower with a light coat ofacrylic sealer.
Stick the skewer of the flower in apotted plant or garden bed for somespringtime cheer.
