Why Should I Go? Tell legislators and California
• Education is being de-funded• Students are paying more
– 32% more last year– Fee increase 182% since 2002
• Cuts to classes, sections, programs, quality• Increased class size• Increased time to graduation• More cuts are coming
Why should I care?
• Your future depends on it
• California’s economic boom was built on the education and innovation based in the Master Plan
• Economy will not thrive without an educated, skilled workforce
• Access to education for ALL Californians (including those from disadvantaged backgrounds)
What can I do?• Join students from other CSU’s, UC’s, and public schools on March 4
• Participate in the March 2 Education “Un”- Fair (11:30, Library Quad) Student led rally
• Educate the legislators about the state of the CSU
• Write letters
• Ask questions
• Show you care
• Don’t stop after March 4

How do I get there?
• Drive and park in the parking structures, or at Raley Field parking lot and walk over the Tower bridge
• Bus #30 (From campus down J St. to the Capitol)
• Light Rail (65th St. by campus to near the Capitol)
• Ride your bike!
