EducAll works in NGOs and private schools

EduAction is an NGO that brings

globally minded students and recent university graduates from all over the world

to give intercultural workshops in educational institutions across

Latin America. To create a multicultural environment in schools in which young people can explore values that support them in their developmentas conscientious and engaged citizens who are more culturally sensitive with a broader world vision.

EduAction Project works in public schools Project

The organization began with the EduAction Project in 2009

in Porto Alegre, Brazil

In five years of the project, over

300 international volunteers have participated,

working in over 250 public schools in 6 countries,

generating positive change in the lives of more than

30,000 young peopleacross Latin America

In each country we work with a local AIESEC committee

International volunteers give intercultural workshops about

topics of global importance in public schools in Latin America

EduAction creates a multi-cultural and open environment that awakens

students’ curiosity to discover the world beyond their classroom.

EduAction uses non-traditional teaching methods that really

engage students in the workshops

and on-going training

sessions as well as other promotional events

such as Global Villages

Your EduAction Mission:To plan and facilitate workshops in public schools for young people between 12 – 17 years old

Preparation: In the first two weeks the EduAction Summit and Induction days will help prepare you to give workshops. This will include: Introduction to the project Cultural adaptation & orientation around your new city Language classes (Spanish/Portuguese)

& most importantly of all…….

The WorkshopsOver the period of 8 weeks you will work in pairs to

facilitate the workshops

Work travel expenses and accommodation during your stay are

covered by EduAction

Please don’t forget to bring the following:

A large flag

Pictures

Maps

Typical food and clothes

Objects that represent your country

Anything else that you want to share from your culture!

Global Villages are an opportunity for you to share your culture and traditions and represent your country

You will participate in several Global Villages during your placement

and experience a side to Brazil you’d never expect!

Why Fortaleza? Work with young people who will really benefit from the project in one of the most stunning cities in Brazil.

Why Uruguay?Get to know one of the most

open-minded countries in Latin America and exchange ideas with local students!

Why Chimbote? Visit a Peru that most tourists don’t get to see and live a unique experience, creating real connections with the students of Chimbote.

The volunteer team for the first edition of EduAction in Mexico is already complete

but you can still take part in the second

edition from August to October 2015
