HV and LED control signal distribution board
• Outputs– 200 outputs for the CW base
control voltage distribution in range from 0 to 5 V with 12 bit precision.
– 16 outputs for the LED intensity control signal distribution in range from 0 V to +5 V with 12 bit precision.
– 8 outputs of the stabilized LV and +100 V power supplies for feeding the 8 groups of the CW base.
• Inputs– SPECS bus for
interconnection with ECS.– Power lines from external
power supplies.

PVSS Control of the HV signal distribution board
• At present the board is successfully controlled by a PVSS program interfacing the SPECS bus– HV DAC values can be correctly set and
retrieved.
• Using an automated script
• Through an operator panel
• Importing data from an ASCII file

HV board Control – work in progress
• Connection to the Configuration Database– New tools shall be released by the online
group.
• Inserting the HV control board into the ECS control hierarchy– Defining the Device Unit associated to the
board by the fwFSM tool.
• Designing definitive operator panels and refining scripts and file formats.
