� Challenge problem:How can we help fighting the spread of Ebola and help protecting civilians in the affected areas with the international field-working personell?

� Solution: EbolaWatch.io, early warning system � web-based automated tool for syndication, analyses, curation of

information streams creating valueable alerts and delivering them

� To build a working prototype of the initial design while working with professionals who are present at the outbreak in Africa

� Identify the sources of valid information, create a process of curation and validation and making it as much as possible automatic. Keeping in mind the security of this information might be coming from vulnerable sources, also the delivery of this information to potential people is considered a vulnaribility
