At the New Mexico School for the Deaf, children are immersed in a rich and stimulating bilingual (American Sign Language and spoken and/or written English) learning environment.

As they play, grow and learn, all children are supported and embraced for their unique characteristics and home languages.

New Mexico School for the Deaf’s Albuquerque preschool and kindergarten is a place where hands and voices are used to assure that all students have full access to the wide array of information they need to develop to their potential – cognitively, socially, linguistically, and emotionally.
