The True Authorship of the New Testament
“Let’s see, a story that starts with fishing for men and has a human Passover lamb and acrucifixion scene where one survives out of three and concludes with the condemning of Simonand the sparing of John. Gee, what story could that be?”
- Joseph Atwill on the 'Judean War' by Flavius Josephus
Professor Bruno Bauer, in his work of 1877 " Christ and the Caesars" , stated that he had
concluded that the Romans had authored the New Testament and that Flavius Josephus was theinventor of Jesus.
James Ballantyne Hannay next wrote about the Roman authorship of the New Testament in his1925 work " The Rise, Decline & Fall of the Roman Reli gion (Chri stiani ty)."
Abelard Reuchlin found the key to unraveling just who the actual authors were, and that theauthors were to be found in the Roman Piso family, who were a part of the Piso/Flavian
dynasty. He authored a booklet that came out in 1979 and is available from The Roman PisoHomepage.
In 2003 Joseph Atwill discovered that the Roman emperor Titus Flavius, working with FlaviusJosephus and other authors in his patrimony wrote the New Testament. Atwill deduced this by
comparing The 'Judean War' to the New Testament. The 'Judean War', written by Flavius
Josephus, was originally part of the Christian Bible, and was removed around 1100 CE. 'TheRoman Origin of Christianity', released as 'Caesar's Messiah' by Joseph Atwill documents thecreation of the New Testament as a Roman satire devised to win over Judean dissidents by
deceiving them into believing that the emperor Titus Flavius Vespasiani was Jesus! I know, itsounds strange, but that seems to be the way it was. Titus took great pleasure in calling himself
"the greatest forger in history."
There are now several million persons who know about the Piso Theory, Atwill's book and thetrue authorship of the New Testament. This page is dedicated to the ongoing discussion,
discovery and presentation of deductive proofs that establish, as much as possible, the authorshipand motives for the creation of the New Testament.

from one of the generals in the army of Alexander the Great. The family included such
famous people as Cleopatra, the Ptolemys, Pythagoras, Flavius Josephus, and the Roman
Emperor Titus Flavius Vespasiani.
The great temple at Jerusalem was built by Herod the Great, and utterly destroyed in 70
CE by Titus Flavius Vespasiani. Of course nobody knew it was the year 70 in 70. That datehad to be invented by somebody. The Christian calendar set the date at 70, and you will see thatit is probable that the Pisos (operating as Church Fathers) created the Christian calendar.
Apparently the Pisos were obsessed with Julius Caesar, evidence of which you will seerepeatedly in the following text.
It is certain that the Roman emperor Vespasian captured the city of Jerusalem for Rome in 66 CE
(Common Era), and the Roman emperor Titus Flavius Vespasiani (the son of Vespasian),destroyed the temple there in 70 CE. In fact, both Zela (religious center of Pontus) and Jerusalem
were the sites of temples that were destroyed: Julius Caesar destroyed the one in Zela in 47 BCE.The Piso family were aristocrats whose ancestry traced from Zela.
Julius Caesar was an in-law of the Piso family. His wife, Calpurnia, was a Piso. He had marriedher to cement an alliance with Pontus. When Cleopatra, also a Piso relative, seduced Caesar,
it is possible that she was conspiring with her relative Pharnaces II, king of Pontus, todistract Caesar while Pharnaces prepared to wage war against Rome. But Caesar got wind
of the activities of Pharnaces and rushed to Pontus with two legions, one of which was almostentirely composed of Judeantroops. Caesar turned the tables on Pharnaces. That defeat probably
led to Caesar's assassination, and the eternal hatred of Caesar by the people of Pontus. There isno new historical i nformation here. It is well known that Caesar took two legions from
Alexandria to conquer Pontus in 47 CE.
Three years later, Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by Roman senators in the Forum. Severalof the conspirators were Piso family members or close relatives.
As an illustration of just one of the hidden messages that exist in the New Testament, consider
Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him; even they who havepierced him." He comes, they see, and they pierce him.
Caesar went to Pontus, they saw him coming in a cloud of dust, and as a result of this they
pierced him to death.
There is actually much more in that little verse, but we will leave that for later discussion. This is
just one small example of the hidden messages that exist in the New Testament and can bedecrypted by a simple cipher based on the phrase VENI VIDI VICI. The infamous number 666,
for example, is simply VIVIVI, which refers to VenI VidI VicI. Oh yes, you will say that 666is really DCLXVI. Yes, it is, but it also can cleverly be represented as VIVIVI. Believe it or not;
it really isn't that important, but it's an interesting possibility.
Imagine having the power to set the date of origin of the calendar! This was the kind of power
held by the Roman aristocracy. Julius Caesar had changed the calendar himself. With the advice

of Cleopatra's astrologer, Caesar had added four extra months to the year 46 BCE. This is thereason that the Piso/Flavians changed the calendar too. It was a kind of "one-upsmanship" on a
grand scale.
A major reason to suspect that the New Testament was written for purposes that are not
obvious at face value is the presence of multiple meanings, obvious jokes and mysteriousnumber relationships. I f the books were divinely inspir ed, one would assume that nothing
would be hidden, un less the divine inspir ation i tself were somehow deceptive. I f deceptive,
then how could one trust such a deity? There are more than a few number games and doublemeanings in the text of the New Testament, as you will see. In fact, there seem to be two ways to
read the New Testament: As a common person and as a member of the aristocracy. There aredual meanings to almost every verse; one for the Judean rebels and one for the royals. You can
find out more in detail about this if you visit the Roman Piso Sites linked at the bottom of this page.
The New Testament contains many clues to its authorship. This site is intended to help document
those clues and present an historically valid, at least feasible, provenance for the books of the New Testament.

the NT? Sounds preposterous? After you have read the articles on thissite you may understand that the Romans really did write the NewTestament. Why? They wanted to record their utter hatred for Julius
Caesar, and they needed to provide an alternative to Judaism so thatthe slaves would stop converting to that religion.
But then why does it seem that the Romans hated Christianity? Afterall, didn't they "throw the Christians to the lions" in the Coliseum?
The last thing the Roman rulers wanted was for the slaves to catch onto the fact that they wrote the New Testament. If they had said "Here,
slaves, is a religion made just for you, and we endorse it." the slaveswould have done anything but become Christians. Isn't that obvious?
Recent research by archaeologists and historians has revealed someinteresting facts about the fire that engulfed Rome in 64 CE. This was
the fire that was assumed to have been caused by Nero. Recall the popular saying, "Nero fiddled while Rome burned."? It turns out that
the fire was set in places that were far apart, indicating that it couldn't
have spread by natural forces, but was set by arsonists. Other facts point to the Christians, operating as revolutionaries, as having beenthose arsonists. Thus the Christians, and their leaders, including the
"saints" Peter and Paul, were legally executed as arsonists by Nero, instead of being innocent bystanders who were vicitimized. The
"spin" put on the execution of the Christians was one of the keyfactors in the acceptance of Christianity by the people of the Roman
Empire. All along, the real battle was between the Piso/Flavians andthe Julian Emperor Nero, and eventually the Flavians won.
Within Judaism there were several factions, but the most prominent political division was between the Herodians (Sadducees) and
everybody else (Pharisees). The Herodians were in favor of Rome andslavery. They were composed of the descendants and associates of
King Herod, who was a member of the Roman Piso family. The non-Herodians (the majority) were actively against slavery and fought
vigorously against Rome. If you know your Bible you know that the Pharisees are presented as
the "bad guys." They were described as the group that insisted thatJesus be crucified. Knowing this, you can see how the Roman authors
of the New Testament were against the Pharisees, and this was because the Pharisees were encouraging slaves to convert to Judaism.
In order to promote slavery and do something that would be attractiveto the slaves, the Romans, led by the Piso/Flavian clan, created areligion that emphasized humility (turn the other cheek, the meek shallinherit, and so on) to promise an afterlife of bliss in heaven after
suffering on earth. Knowing human nature, the Romans invented a propaganda machine and the slaves swallowed it hook line and sinker.

Behold, he cometh with clouds;
Revelation 1:7 says " Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eyeshal l see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindredsof the earth shall wail because of h im. Even so, Amen." The word
"pierced" can have more than one meaning. It can refer to piercingwith a spear (ostensibly the piercing of Christ's body) or it can refer to
the piercing by the eye . Could it be that those eyeswhich have"pierced" him are also they which have discovered the hidden
messages in the NT? Does the phrase "cometh with clouds" refer tothe "clouded", or hidden, messages under the surface of the NT?
Perhaps we wail as the Judean People wail at the "wailing wall", theonly wall remaining after the Temple at Jerusalem was destroyed by
the Roman general Titus. There is yet another way to interpret the verse. Notice that the phrase
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and
they [also] which pierced him." contains VENI VIDI VICI. He came. They saw. They pierced (conquered) him. It describes what happenedat Zela in 47 BCE, and the assassination that followed three years
later. They saw him coming with his troops, and they pierced him 23times as a result of it.

666 - Who is the beast?
The number 666 has been an "evil" number since the dawn ofChristianity. Did you ever wonder why? There is lots of information
packed into this number. The simplest interpretation is that it can beexpressed in Roman numerals as VIVIVI. Of course it can also be
expressed as DCLXVI, and the literal-minded will never get themessage. VIVIVI refers to the phrase VENI VIDI VICI penned by
Julius Caesar. Thus, the number of the beast is the number of JuliusCaesar, and Caesar is the beast. It is easy to see that, from the point of

What was the Old Testament?
Did you ever wonder why it was called the "New" Testament? If therewere a "New" Testament, wouldn't there also be an "Old" Testament?Well, yes, the Torah (or Greek Septuagint) is assumed to be that set of
books, but what if the Old Testament was also the "last will andtestament" of Julius Caesar? After all, when Caesar was assassinated
(March 15, 44 BCE) his father-in-law Lucius Piso, opened Caesar'stestament and read it aloud. Caesar's testament donated Caesar's
gardens and immense fortune to the people of Rome. A substantial
portion was left to Octavian, Caesar's son. The Piso testament createda new state religion that was designed to give hope of heaven, fear of
hell and a masochistic phil osophy of humi li ty and self -subjugation
to the slaves.
To the slaves, the "Old Testament" was intended to mean the Torah(actually the Septuagint, or Greek translation of the Torah). To the
royals, the Old Testament was intended to mean the "last will andtestament of Julius Caesar." You can see here a perfect example of a
dual meaning - one for the slaves and one for the royals. The
Septuagint, by the way, was written by seventy Rabbis at the libraryat Alexandria in Egypt. Because the Ptolemy pharaohs were ancestorsof the Piso/Flavians the Septuagint was actually paid for by them.
Because they owned it, they decided to include it in their new versionof the Bible. It is also interesting that there were 70 Rabbis involved
in the writing, and the temple at Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 CE.
It is clear from Hebrews 9:16-18 that the authors of the NewTestament were referring to a testament as a will: " 16 For where a
testament [ is] , there must also of necessity be the death of the
testator . 17 For a testament [is] of force after men are dead:otherwise it i s of no strength at all whi le the testator l iveth. 18
Whereupon neither the f irst [testament] was dedicated without
blood." Note the reference to blood: The assassination of JuliusCaesar involved 23 knife wounds and was extremely bloody. It is also
interesting that the word "testament" is used nowhere at all in the OldTestament, even though Paul quotes Moses (Hebrews 9:20) as having

What is Zela, and where is it?
The Catholic Encyclopedia on Zela:
"Titular see of Asia Minor, suffragan of Amasea in the Helenopontus.
In pagan times the city, which was situated on the Seylax,
belonged to priests, equal in dignity to the princes of Pontus, lords
of the territory. On the eminence which rises in the middle of the city
stood a famous temple, consecrated by the Persian kings to theirnational divinities, Anahita, Vohu-Mano, and Anadates. Zela isfamous for the victory of Mithridates Eupator over Valerius Trianus,
lieutenant of Lucullus (67 B.C.), also for that of Caesar overPharnaces (47 B.C.), after which he wrote his famous letter, 'Veni,
Vidi, Vici' (I came, I saw, I conquered). At first a mere hamlet, Zelaobtained from Pompeii the title of city, and became the capital of a
district allotted to Queen Pythadoris (Strabo, XI, viii, 4; XII, iii, 37;Pliny, "Hist. Nat.", VI, 8). It was finally ceded to Nero, with all
Pontus Polemoniacus, by its last king, and remained part of the Greco-Roman empire until 1397, when the Turks seized it." Zela is now

Loaves and Fishes When Roman soldiers laid siege to a city they used a technique they called

urination was something like transforming water magically into a kind of
'wine' - urine. Knowing this, can you ever again think that Jesus turning water

slaves of course, would get a belly laugh. Back to Top
Why Jesus has 12 disciples.
Julius Caesar had been named Pontifex Maximus in 73 BCE. In theancient Roman state religion (before Christianity) the Pontifex
Maximus was the leader of the twelve Pontiffs, who were the chief priests of their day. That ' s why Jesus has twelve disciples. Jesus
Christ displaces Julius Caesar as Pontifex Maximus, and in this way
writes Caesar out of history. Check out the career of Julius Caesar forinformation about his activities in Asia Minor, and especially inPontus.

Julius Caesar marries Calpurnia Piso.
Julius Caesar married Calpurnia Piso in 59 BCE. The marriage wasmade to cement the famous triumvirate of Caesar, Pompey and
Crassus. (Pompey marr ied Caesar' s daughter Jul ia .) Calpurnia'sfather was a close friend of Crassus. In reality, the marriage may have
had another purpose: To protect Pontus, the Piso homeland, byincluding the Piso family in the aristocracy of Rome. When Crassus
died in battle in 52 BCE, evidently Caesar no longer felt he needed tohonor the peace with the Pisos. He defeated Pontus at Zela in 47.
Apparently this defeat, and Caesar's bragging about how easy itwas, greatly angered the Pisos. Caesar wrote the famous words "veni
vidi vici" (I came. I saw. I conquered) in a letter from Pontus to Romeafter his victory there.

I'm not sure if this means anything, but the word fool is used exactly66 times in the King James Bible: 57 times in the Old Testament. Thewriters of the NT would have had to make up 9 uses of the word

Paul is going to hell too.
Looks like Paul is going to hell too. In 1 Corinthians 15:36 Paul says" [Thou] f ool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it
die:" After Jesus has said that anyone who says "thou fool" shall be in
danger of hell fire (see above), Paul goes right ahead and says "thoufool." So, Paul is going to hell along with God.
Coincidentally, there is a probable double meaning in this phrase. Onone hand he may be saying that one must die in order to have life
everlasting, but he also may be saying that in order for "that which
thou sowest" (undoubtedly semen) to fertilize the ovum, the penismust "die" (become flaccid in orgasm). Many jokes in the NT areimplemented using royal language word substitutions. The art of
rhetoric is in using such subtleties to hide meaning. Roman royal
children were taught rhetoric at an early age in order to enable
them to compete successfully in legal arguments and other such
verbal trickery, including humor.

IPPOS - The horse and the palm branches.
The name PISO is roughly an anagram for IPPOS, which in Greekmeans " horse." The horse was, for this reason, the Piso family
mascot. On Roman coins that show Lucius Piso on the face, a horsewith a rider who holds palm fronds in his hand is on the reverse. InJohn 12:12-14 the people of Jerusalem took "branches of palm trees"
and went to meet Jesus who had found an ass which he was riding. Itis interesting that the image of Jesus, a " horse" (in this case almost a
horse) and palm branches has all the elements of the rider, the horseand the branches on the back of those Roman coins.

the crowd made lowly prostration before the Image. The Ass,
thinking that they bowed their heads in token of respect for
himself, bristled up with pride, gave himself airs, and refused
to move another step. The driver, seeing him thus stop, laid his
whip lustily about his shoulders and said, "O you perverse
dull-head! it is not yet come to this, that men pay worship to an
Ass."
The name "Aesop" is interesting in itself. What a strange name indeed. If you move the last letter 'P' to the front you get " Paeso." Could it
be that the encoding of this name is like the encoding of 'Ippos' ? In
that case you see the name PISO by reading the letters rotationally inreverse. Could it be that Aesop was really a Piso? If so, whichmember? It would make sense, because "The Ass Carrying the Image"
is only one of many fables that are reflected in the New Testament.

Why so many Josephs?
The Piso family members liked the name Joseph. This is why there areso many Josephs in the NT. Why did they like that name in particular?
Because in Hebrew the name is expressed Jos-e-pos. The e-pos part ofit sounds like IPPOS, or Greek for the family mascot - the horse.

There is only one place in the entire Bible (Old and New Testaments)where a black horse is mentioned. It is in Revelation 6:5 " And when
he had opened the thi rd seal, I heard the thi rd beast say, Come and
see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on h im had
a pair of balances in his hand." Could this black horse be a referenceto Vishtaspa's black horse cured by Zarathustra? The pair of balancescould refer to the curing of the king's horse as the "turning point" in
the adoption of the religion of Zoroastrianism. When an angel says "Come and see." it is a hint to "pierce" the
meaning behind the verse. The word "behold" is also a clue thatrelates to the act of seeing.

The Piso nickname - baker (pistor).
In Latin the word " pis t o r" (baker) was, like the word" ip pos ", used by the Piso family to refer to themselves.
Could it be that when we read in the Lord's Prayer " Give us
this day our daily bread." we are actually reading a request
for more "bread" from the Piso family bakery that cooked
up the Jesus story?

Instructions to a baker.
Revelation 6:6 reads: " And I heard a voice in the midst of the fourbeasts say, A measur e of wheat for a penny, and three measures of
barley for a penny; and [see] thou hur t not the oil and the wine." Strange, isn't it, to read instructions to a baker coming from the midst
of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse? This verse is a completenonsequitur. Remember that another name that refers to the Piso
family is "pistor", or "baker." This is a deliberate joke intended toconfirm that the reader is on the right track. If The Revelation is the
66th book, and you suspect hidden meanings, it would make sense toread what is at chapter 6, verse 6.

The fountain of the water of life.
Revelation 22:1-2: " And he shewed me a pure river of water of li fe,clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of theLamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the
ri ver, [was there] the tree of l if e, which bare twelve [manner of]
f ru its, [and] yielded her fru it every month: and the leaves of the tree
[were] for the healing of the nations." In order to get this joke you
need to visualize what is being described. The water of life proceedsout of the throne of God. Just where on the throne does it proceed
from? Could it be from the penis of the throne's occupant? What aboutthe female tree of life? The tree of life is human, because she yields
her fruit every month. She is menstrual. Is it a coincidence that thewater of life (sperm) is fertilizing the female tree of life? Doesn't this
suggest even more strongly that the water of life is indeed sperm?
Revelation 22:17: " And the Spir it and the bri de say, Come. And lethim that heareth say, Come. And let him that i s athi rst come. And
whosoever wil l, let him take the water of l if e freely." The word"come" meant the same thing to the Romans that it means to us. It is
slang for "orgasm." Here a bride is telling us to "come." In fact, weare ALL being told to "come." And, by the way, whosoever wishes to
be fu*ked, or to su*k our di*ks, let him take our sperm freely. Anorgy is being described. The presence of the "bride" in the context of
the " water of l ife" clearly refers to a sexual act, just as in Revelation22:1-2 above. Imagine the Roman royals sitting around eating grapes,
drinking wine and joking about the Christians believing this stuff?
Revelation 22:17 may in fact be a reference to a verse by Catullus, a poet reputed to be the greatest writer of Latin lyric verse. A poem by
Gaius Valerius Catullus (84-54 BCE), called "Epithalamium On ViniaAnd Manlius", is obvious in its reference to the word "come" in the
context of orgasm:
"Groom, now 'tis meet thou hither pace,
With bride in genial bed to blend,
For sheenly shines her flowery face
Where the white chamomiles contendWith poppies blushing red."Yet bridegroom (So may Godhead deign

"No longer loitering makest thou,Now comest thou. May Venus good
Aid thee when frankly takest thouThy wishes won, nor true Love woo'd

Catullus' father was a close friend of Julius Caesar. It is possible thatthe poems of Catullus inspired parts of The Revelation. The Piso
authors evidently despised Julius Caesar and actively attempted tousurp the Julian line of emperors. We know this in part due to the
famous Pisonian Conspiracy in which an unsuccessful attempt wasmade by the Pisos on the life of Nero. Catullus wrote many verses that
referred to orgies and other sexual matters. It could well be that thereferences to sex are a parody of Catullus.

Flavius Josephus
The writer Flavius Josephus who wrote a history of the people ofJudea was actually a Flavian/Piso. In the Works of Flavius Josephus,
particularly the Autobiography and 'Judean War', there are manyJesuses, one of whom is described as a thief who lived with a group of
fishermen. Christians have often referred to Flavius Josephus as anauthor who gives independent testimony to the Jesus story. It is
probable that Josephus (jos-e-pos) was actually a Piso/Flavian writingabout the Jesus he invented. In the Autobiography there are many
people, events and places described by Josephus, including kings and battles, most of which cannot be proven to have actually existed. The
Autobiography is undoubtedly a work of fiction.

Cretans are always liars.
In Titus 1:12 Paul says of the people of Crete " Even one of their ownprophets has said, 'Cretans are always li ars, evil bru tes, lazygluttons.'" Now, this is very interesting because it is an example of a
tongue-in-cheek joke. What is actually being said when a Cretan (onefrom Crete) says that a Cretan always lies? It is a classic conundrum
well known to the Roman philosopher. If he is telling the truth, he is

lying, and if he is lying he is telling the truth! An uneducated person
wouldn't "get" it, and that is exactly what the Piso writers wanted to
happen. The educated aristocrat tells a joke at the expense of the
uneducated slave. It could be assumed that the "prophet" Paul refers tois himself, because he is a son of Crete. This adds yet another level of
meaning to the joke.

And ye shall know the truth.
In John 8:32 Jesus says " And ye shall know the truth , and the truthshal l make you fr ee." Could the "truth" be that the Romans were theauthors of the NT, and by knowing this you know what free people
know and hence are no longer enslaved?
The above examples are but a small fraction of the many references in the NT that have beenaccepted by uneducated people (slaves) as " myster ies" but can be seen to have real meanings
when you know about the Piso family. The infamous number 666, the " sign of the beast ", can beseen to have a rational explanation, as can obscure references (three against two and two against
three) that permeate the NT.
Why is it important that people know about these hidden bibli cal references? First
of all, the study is exciting because it answers so many questions about the history of civilization. It is obvious that during the Roman war against the Judean People an incentive existed for Rome
to win away slaves who were contemplating proselytizing themselves to Judaism. After all, thehumanist Rabbi Hillel overtly condemned slavery, and slavery was the machinery that kept the
Roman Empire humming. The New Testament, with its savior who died at the hands of theRomans, was an excellent (and obviously hugely successful) way to win the hearts of the slaves
with its promise of life in heaven after a life of humble servitude. Of course, the last thing theRoman aristocrats wanted was for the slaves to know that the Romans wrote it all.
The problem is that Christianity has taken such a monumentally strong foothold in world
societies. A religion that depended on the ignorance of slaves to guard its secrets now must
increasingly coexist with a population that is being educated by television, and now by theinternet. Slaves were not intended to share in the hidden knowledge contained in the New
Testament. The books were a tool that was intended for use by Roman aristocrats and
priests to keep the slaves humble, fearful and hopeful. It was a great source of power for a
Roman family to initiate its young scholars into the hidden messages (even jokes) in a book
that was seen as a fearful mystery by the uninitiated.

There is no negative intent in these studies. In fact, as stated in the NT itself: " The truth shallmake you free." There is little doubt that there are hidden messages in the NT, and that those
messages point to its true authorship. It is strongly felt that the Piso family clearly wantededucated people to know about their involvement, and the reasons for it. Now is the time for an
increasingly educated public to cast off the chains of intellectual slavery by coming to
understand the true origins of the Christian religion - for better or for worse. An important property of truth is that it does not depend on our desires, illusions or feelings. Scholarship, like justice, must be blind to the passions of humanity.
Nietzsche said " God is dead." God said " Ni etzsche is dead." In fact, they're both dead in the
cultural sense. I believe Nietzsche was being quite literal, as he felt he had discovered the originof god in Zarathustra, who was supposed to have been a real living person who in fact did die.
If you have read carefully you now know secrets that only highly educated scholars, famous
authors and experts in Roman history knew during the last two thousand years. To know thesethings yourself you would have had to have been fluent in Greek, Latin and Hebrew. You would
have had to have read all of the major historical authors, including Seutonius, Pliny, Tacitus andFlavius Josephus to name but a few.
The concept of the Supreme Being is an intimate one. At best it is a personal belief that puts torest our intellectual need for certainty, if only for an hour or so.
For some of us it helps us to deal with the horror of death, and the absurdity of a life that puts an
end to all we have built when we die. For others it helps to explain the injustice of a world thatrewards some of us for doing nothing and punishes some of us for giving selflessly. It is the
unanswered question, the bookmark in the book of life, the ultimate source of comfort in themidst of chaos.
Some need comfort more than others. Some of us like to strap ourselves into the crow's nest
during the storm and with our last breath utter the last question as we sink beneath the waves:
WHY?
" Ask, and it shal l be given you; seek, and ye shal l f ind; knock, and it shal l be
