DISADVANTAGES

travel to access cinema’s as well as pay to see the film.

Little to no chance of a first-time film maker’s production to be shown.
The most suitable form of marketing distribution would be print because there are several forms that appeal to different age groups so I would be able to target my audience through the form of print media. You can also organise the cost as there are several sizes of adverts that you can chose from. However with this the price could be quite high if you want your advert to stand out from competitors.
The most suitable form of presenting distribution would be YouTube because it is a popular form of entertainment for my target audience and there is little chance of cinema showing my film as I am an unknown film-maker. Another benefit of YouTube is that there is a chance that I can be “discovered” which could then lead to a better future career in film. As well as this it is free to post your video, cost comes into the picture when promoting it both online and in print as shown above.
