Virtual Conferences: Lead Generation of the Future
Digital Marketing World is a virtual conference and tradeshow for marketing professionals about advances in digital marketing. It is entirely online and free to attend. It has two tracks – one for business-to-business marketing, and one for business-to-consumer marketing.
MarketingProfs has produced annual Virtual Conferences for the past two years, but due to the success and increased popularity of the virtual platform, and the growing reputation for outstanding caliber of all MarketingProfs conferences, two virtual conferences are scheduled in 2009.

Frequently Asked Questions about Virtual Conferences
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EXHIBITING? Leads, leads, leads! The quality and quantity of leads you receive at the MarketingProfs Virtual Conferences produce high quality and high quantity leads for you. There are no travel costs, so the event is cost efficient. And there’s no actual time out of the office for your staff, so there are savings there as well.
HOW DO I BUILD THE BOOTH? Building the booth does require a little planning and preparation, but it’s a lot easier than designing, produc-ing and shipping a booth for a live show. We make it easy with the Booth Builder Tool. Once you’ve signed on to sponsor the conference, we’ll help walk you through the process.
HOW IS A VIRTUAL BOOTH STAFFED? You can sign up people from your sales team or customer service to man your booth during conference hours. We recommend at least three people at any time. We’ll help you train your staff to man the booth and how to greet and engage the conference visitors who enter your booth.
HOW WILL YOU DRIVE TRAFFIC TO THE SHOW AND MY BOOTH? MarketingProfs has weekly promotions planned for the two months leading up to the conferences. Email campaigns, web ads, and ads and editorial coverage in MarketingProfs’ newsletters are also planned.
HOW MANY ATTENDEES DO YOU EXPECT? In 2007, MarketingProfs had 5,000 registrants. In 2008, 8,000 people registered. In 2009, we expect at least 10,000 registrants. It’s also less expensive and less of a time commitment for attendees.
