WHAT IS A DIGI-PAK?

A digi pak is a form of packaging for a CD that protects the disk.

It can hold either one or two disks

Normally includes some form of pictures on the inside and outside.

The front cover normally promotes the artist.

ALBUM COVERSName of the artist so the audience know who the artist is and the name can be easily recognised.

Name of the album. So the consumers know what there buying. Also with this artist he keeps the same name for all his albums which show continuity for example his first album was my world then my world 1.0 and my world 2.0

A picture of the artist which shows iconography. Target audience can see the artist and automatically recognise who it is

Name of the album so the audience can see what they are buying.

Picture of the artist. This shows iconography as the audience can relate from the picture who the artist is.

This album does not include the name of the artist as this shows that she is that well know and has enough publicity to not have to have her name on the album as everyone knows who she is just by looking at her.

The pout pulled by the artist portrays women as being provocative. This may attract the opposite gender

ALBUM COVER AND BACK COVER This album art consists of hundreds of photographs of the artist, put together to create a large image of him. This is a unique concept. This unusual idea is more likely to attract the audience to this cd cover.

The artists name and album name are clearly displayed at the top of the cover. The colours of the text contrast with the dark cover making it stand out. from the background photographs.

The dark colour scheme has been continued through to the back cover of the cd keeping continuity with the product. This is also similar with the text style.

The album cover is all black an whit apart from the artist lips that stand out from the image and portray the artist as confident and quirky which the artist is known for.

The artists name and album title are in keeping with the black and white style of the cover. However they are in a small font as the photograph makes it clear to the audience who the artist is.
