Muhammad
Muhammad begins preaching monotheism
in the polytheistic culture of Mecca.
He is later banished from Mecca, only to
return years later to conquer Mecca inbattle.
Muhammad spread Islam by the sword withthe backing of the Qur’an (Surah 9:5).

Salvation in Islam Salvation in Islam is based on the “scales.”
If a person’s good deeds outweigh theirbad deeds, they can have hope that Godwill accept them (Surah 23:102-103).
A Muslim can never know if they have
done enough good deeds to merit eternallife.

Salvation in Islam The only way that salvation is secured for a
Muslim is by dying as a martyr whileattempting to further the cause of Allah(Surah 3:169-171).
Anyone who rejects Islam and the prophet
Muhammad will be condemned to hell.(Surah 5:10; 48:13).

Muhammad Prophets in both the Old and New
Testaments provided proof that they were
sent from God (1 Kings 18:21-39; Hebrews
2:3-4). When Muhammad was pressed to provide
a sign that he was from God, he appealed
to the Quran as a sign (Surah 29:48-51).

Muhammad Angelic revelations that contradict the
teachings of the Bible are demonic(2 Corinthians 11:14)
Muhammad’s angelic revelations have just
as much credibility as the angelic revelations
of Joseph Smith (the founder of Mormon-ism), which is none (Galatians 1:8-9).

The Jesus of the Qur’an The Jesus of the Qur’an is based on a
personal experience that Muhammadencountered during his time of meditation.
The Jesus of the Qur’an is not based onhistorical evidence. Thus, it is not a
trustworthy document regarding the life andteachings of Jesus.

The Jesus of the Qur’an The portrait of Jesus in the Qur’an is
partially accurate, revealing His superiority
to Muhammad in at least four (4) ways.
This should lead an open-minded Muslim tolook into the New Testament to gain a more
accurate description of the real Jesus
(Surah 5:66-68; 10:94).

Salvation in Islam Muslims cannot know that they will have
enough good deeds to weigh in their favor
on judgment day. However, the Bible
promises that we can know that we haveeternal life (1 John 5:13; Romans 10:13).
This is a fearful situation for the Muslim
since the Qur’an says that all are guilty of
sin (Surah 16:61; 35:45).

Salvation in Islam The Qur’an states that Allah, “Leads astray
whomsoever he wills” (Surah 35:8). The Qur’an also states that it is the will of Allah to
populate hell (Surah 11:118-119).
However, the God of the Bible desires to draweveryone to Himself (Matthew 18:14; 1 Timothy
2:4).
Which God qualifies as a more trustworthy
Savior?
