Surface Finishing Process and Environmental Systems
Integrated Technologies Inc. (ITI) can provide a turnkey solution to your equipment requirements for surface finishing process and environmental systems, including process lines, ventilation/scrubbing, water and wastewater treatment. Whether it is conceptual or detailed design, design-build, or design-bid-build, a project delivery method can be tailored to meet your needs. ITI’s network of suppliers and contractors combined with our engineering and project management staff can provide effective, well-engineered and robust equipment at competitive prices, thus provid-ing a complete, turnkey project from a single source requiring reduced client interface. ITI will design a project execution strategy to meet client requirements, including a fast-track, open-book, negotiated bid approach to design/build that reduces client risk when project requirements are uncertain and evolving during the design phase. ITI will accept single source responsibility for design, sourcing, fabrication and construction, start-up, commis-sioning, and training to support client needs.
ITI offers a very unique advantage on a global scale: ITI can integrate expert process knowledge and highly developed tools with years of experience in process equipment and facility design to deliver the optimum system for perfor-mance, life cycle cost, operability, maintainability, and reduced energy and environmental impact.
FIELD SERVICES included turnkey installation by ITI contractors or supervision of client’s contractors. Services include start-up, commissioning, validation, operator training, operations and maintenance support.
ITI Design/Build Advantages:
• Expert process experience integrated with multi-disciplin-ary design teams to deliver effective system design to assure optimum performance.
• Expert design experience to assure the right selection and application of process components and major equipment tailored to suit current and future requirements
• Flexible project delivery and expert project management and quality control
• Optimize client requirements with robust analytical capability to evaluate ROI, capital costs, operating costs, project life cycle cost, as well as operability, maintainability and reliability and compliance issues.
• Process modeling software, Platos’ Process Planner ™, utilized to visualize activity based operating costs including materials, labor, energy, utilities, and impact on waste treatment.
• Optimize process costs including energy, materials, water, waste-water, ventilation, and other environmental costs during design. We don’t just deliver new equipment based on old designs
• Process improvement including review of process chemistries, rins-ing, and solution maintenance.
• Lean analysis concepts are core design principles to assure effective facility workflow
• Optimize health and safety with process hazard analysis
• Effective cost management 3D design (AutoCAD Inventor) to optimize process equipment and facility arrangement, evalu-ate interferences, constructability, operability and maintain-ability.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural design includ-ing tanks to confirm allowable stress and deflection and electroplating simulation to design plating cells and tooling
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis for solu-tion agitation and ventilation systems design
• Integrated environmental systems are designed in as part of process design for effective use of point source and end-of-pipe technology.

Wastewater Treatment Systems
TheITIwastewatersystemdesignapproach begins upstream with the pro-cess. Plato’s Process Planner™ modeling software is employed to analyze process scenarios and characterize wastestreams in order to develop an integrated design strategy and establish load conditions. Theprocessisevaluatedtoconsiderproperdump/bleedmanagement,pro-cess chemistry, segregation, and poten-tial process substitution when possible to enhance system performance. Rinse-water requirements are characterized to
assureefficientuseofavailablewaterandqualityrequirements.Simulations include the use of advanced technology for recycling and recovery when possible. Wastewater treatment systems are provided for continuous flow and batch operation.
