Jack’s face was as red as a tomato. He looked like he was about to explode. His face was wrinkled up and he was making a growling sound.

Tasha had sweat trickling down her neck. She felt like she was in the sizzling desert. Her face and body turned completely the color of flame. She was numb everywhere and could barely move.

Max clutched his arms around his body. He shook like a furless cat frozen in a box of ice. His teeth chattered. He twitched and bit his lip, grasping his flimsy sweater.

Mr. Salsich’s eyes drooped and his head dropped like a dead fly. It looked like he fainted. He moaned, yawned, and then he began snoring!

I was panting like crazy and trying to catch my breath. My face was as red as a ripe strawberry. Sweat trickled down my neck.

I was clenching my hand so hard that my hand almost exploded. I stomped my feet so rapidly that I almost fell through the floor. My face was as red as the inside of a watermelon.

George shivered and his teeth chattered. His face felt like it was freezing into ice. His lips turned blue. All I could hear was the chattering of his teeth.

Mr. Salsich fell onto his desk with bags under his eyes. Suddenly there was a loud yawn coming from his desk. Everyone turned around to see Mr. Salsich snoring at his desk! “Honk… Shoo. Honk… Shoo.”
