Improvements to NC Star✓ Tasks are now called Actions (Action Steps)
✓ All work is done on one website (no longer Dashboard separate from Main Page)

Clicking on “Submit” Button will archive your work by creating a date-stamped PDF. We recommend schools press submit twice a year (Fall & Spring). If you complete the optional Needs Assessment Form you are going to want to “Submit” that as well in order to archive yearly.

Home Screen – Snapshot
Clicking on “Snapshot” gives a summary of progress. Reminder: Snapshot is visible to those with Guest Access
Step 1 – Click on “update Profile” to make sure that information for School Principal, Process Manager and team members is accurate
Step 2 – Click on “Set Direction” to include all previous work is in plan by doing the steps below….
Step 3 – Once you are in Set Direction then click on #3 “Indicator Selection”
Step 4 – Once you are in Indicator Selection then click on Display all Indicators”
Step 5 – Most important – Scroll down and check the box on the left for all indicators that are in Progress Status say “No Actions”, “In Plan”, or “Achieved”. Also make sure that all the Key indicators (key icon) also have the boxed check. As you select the indicators you should see them change to the color green on your screen.

The Comprehensive Report is what may be given to the Local Board of Education and available to
