SUPERLIFT Attachment for the DEMAG TC-1200 Truck Crane

For applications where load moments in excess of5426 foot-tons are encountered, the DEMAG TC 1200Truck Crane can be equipped with aSuperlift Attach­ment which permits load moments up to 12661 foot­tons. An increase of 233%, resulting in a 633 ton loadmoment chart at a 2O'radius.The performance benefits derived from the Superliftresult from the fact that a heavier load is compensatedby a corresponding counterweight. This causes theloads on the structural members of the crane, such assuperstructure, slewing ring, undercarriage, andoutriggers, to be applied centrally while relieving theboom assembly.

The additional counterweight is autom~tically lifted ofthe ground when attempting to pick upa load with theSuperlift, so that the upper can be swung as desired.The Superlift "ttachment consists of the followingcomponentrwhich are readily mounted to our standardcrane without major modifications:(a) Superlift Mast with head sheaves(b) Superlift Backstops(c) Counterweight Suspension Cables(d) Boom-Hoist Bridle(e) Additional Counterweight(f) Additional Hydraulic and Electric Controls(g) Conversion Parts to Overload Cut-Out
