DAY 1Daniel I

In 606 BC- King Nebuchanezzar of Babylon came to take over Jerusalem. He carried off some of the best things from the city and took them back to Babylon.

Not only did he take treasure, he took the best people too.

Young people who were

Handsome,

Smart,

Strong,

And even stronger,

And able to serve in the Kings palace.

Among these were

Daniel aka Belteshazzar,

Hananiah aka Shadrach,

Mishael aka Meshach,

and Azariah aka Abednego.

They were to eat food from the kings table, but Daniel decided not to eat these foods since they were against Gods laws.

The Lord caused the official assigned to the four men to have sympathy.

At the end of ten days, they looked healthier and better nourished.

When the king brought them in, he found them to be ten times better than all the magicians and enchantments in the whole kingdom.

God wanted them to be healthy and Stay Safe!
