avid is head of Americas Equity Capital Markets (ECM). Previously, he wasco-head of ECM in the Americas. Beforethat, he was responsible for the Technology,Media and Telecom sectors within ECM.David joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as ananalyst in the Communications, Media andEntertainment Group within the InvestmentBanking Division. He became an associate in1999 and a vice president in 2002. David wasnamed managing director in 2006 and partnerin 2010. Prior to joining the firm, David worked asan analyst at Smith Barney in the InvestmentBanking department. David earned a BS in Economics from theWharton School of the University ofPennsylvania in 1996.
