GENERAL ENGLISH
The basic level for students to begin their foundational skills.
Students are provided further foundational skills to improve their macro skills.
This is the level where students are able to gain further skills to communicate and at CTICwe provide the tools to reach nativelike fluency.
The level where students are near native and can considerably expand their vocabulary,communication skills etc.
The level where students can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, andrecognise implicit meaning. Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously withoutmuch obvious searching for expressions.
The General English course is designed for students from beginners to moreexperienced English speakers. It is suitable for students who may want to enhancetheir English language skills before attempting further study in Australia or toachieve their personal goals. On completion of the course students should be ableto proceed to the next level.
The General English (GE) program is a 5 level program offered atElementary, PreIntermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and
Advanced levels. Each level takes 12 weeks to complete. Midterm and endof term exams are conducted every six weeks.

The IELTS Preparation course offers 20 weeks ofexam preparation studies. Throughout the
course students’ progress will be monitored withmaterials similar to those used in the real test.Midterm and end of term exams are conducted
every six weeks.
