The seko range of conductivity probes is speciallydesigned for use in industrial environments inconjunction with seko measurement instruments.The various available models make it possible to coveran extremely wide measurement range. There areversions with temperature sensors and special versionswith graphite or platinum probes, PTFE cell bodies andIP67 connectors.
Measurement of conductivity is performed bysuspending the two metallic electrodes of the probe inthe solution to be measured. The passage of the currentbetween the two electrodes indicates the electricalresistance of the liquid, and therefore its conductivity.
The measurement is influenced by the temperature. Insaline solutions, measurement variations of 2% / °C canoccur. This variation can even reach 7% / °C. Therefore,conductivity probes without temperature sensors shouldonly be used if the solution being tested is maintainedat a temperature between 15°C and 25 °C, restricting thepotential for error to 10%.
Note All the models are guaranteed for a maximumpressure of 6 bars.

The S411/IND series of inductive sensors has been engineered and developed to produce an electrodethat is very powerful but at the same time competitive. The result has been obtained by moulding the sensormade using polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass.
This sensor offers all the advantages of the inductive cond. measurement method, including the absenceof passivation of the conventional conductivity electrodes. All the sensors in the S411/IND range are temperature-compensated, and are also designed for inline, submersion or tank installation.

Turbidimetric Probesand Suspended Solid probes
The principle of measurement is the deviation oflight produced by suspended particles in theliquid. Thanks to the dual sensor is possible tomake measurements of turbidity at low and verylow concentrations with high accuracy andrepeatability.
Avoiding contact with the measuring liquid, theoptical LED technology make the system stableover time and minimize the need for re-calibration. The cell is installed directly in line, themaximum allowable pressure is 4 or 6 bar, pipe orbypass. The flow velocity does not affect themeasurement.

Sensors for measuring pH,Redox and Conductivitymust be installed in thesystem using special probeholders that ensure thecorrect mechanicalprotection and degree ofimpermeability.The pH and Redoxmeasurement probes canbe submerged in tanks,inserted in pipes or placedin sample draw downcontainers (Catch Pots).
The immersion models withadjustable flange can be used inconjunction with a counter-flangewhich allows quick and easyinstallation and removal. The P-IGrange with a floating platformadapts to the varying liquid level ofdeep water tanks. Thepolypropylene versions PIR-2-PP-xxx can house two sensors, e.g. pHand Redox.It is not recommended to use PHand/or Redox sensor in the sameprobe holder as a conductivity cell.
