Hip & TrendyUptown was formerly known as a vibrant center for
artists and musicians, a center for counterculture and
hippies, similar to East Village, Manhattan. The artist
community was popularized by the musician Prince,
who started his career in Uptown. The area has been
though a lot of redevelopment but has retained its
bohemian spirit even as things have changed. Adding
to the mix are young professionals, students, families
and recent college grads.
Today Uptown is known for its eclectic mix of
trendsetters, entrepreneurs and busy night life.
LA Fitness is the
neighborhood’s premier
fitness club offering several
amenities, including an
Aerobics Room, Kids
Klub, and Cycling Room.
As is common in Uptown,
the rooftop is a patio for
socializing and dining.
