gift that can decorate any room?The best thing about this votivecandle holder is that you choosethe colors, so it can be tailoredto suit any person’s taste. Thisalso means that the boring brownand black crayons don’t get leftout because they can potentiallymatch a lot of things.

The possibilities are endlesswith this craft. You can also usea small round drinking glass tomake a colorful, original flowervase or pen holder. Whateverpossibility you choose, make surethat the glass you select is per-fectly round – it’s hard to roll oddshapes in the melted wax.

WHAT YOU NEED● 1 round votive holder

● Small box of crayons

● Cookie sheet with raised edges

● Wax paper

● Potholders

● Pencil

● Votive candle or pens and pen-cils

WHAT YOU DO1. Preheat the oven to 400

degrees.

2. Peel the paper off of eightcrayons, keeping color schemein mind.

3. Line a cookie sheet with twolayers of wax paper.

4. Organize the crayons on thecookie sheet in a way that you’dlike the color to be representedon the votive holder.

5. Put the cookie sheet in the ovenfor approximately seven min-utes (time may vary, so watchcarefully).

6. When the crayons are complete-ly melted, carefully take thecookie sheet out of the ovenand set it on a flat surface.

7. Immediately roll the votiveholder through the meltedwax, making sure to completea full 360-degree turn, so thewax covers the entire votiveholder. Only one complete rollis needed.

8. Use a pencil or something longto transfer votive holder to aclean sheet of wax paper to dry.

9. Add a candle, or use it as a penholder to lessen desk clutter.
