Free Upcycle your holiday activity - a fun day which provides learning and play
Lismore City Council’s Upcycle Your Holidays event is on Thursday 11th October, with free fun during the school holidays.
Visitors will be able to explore create and build in a series of fun activities while learning more about recycling and our local native plants and animals.
“This is a wonderful day for local families and is a free family event,” Environmental Strategies Officer Barbara Jensen said. “We are very proud of our recycling facility and the many ways we recycle our community’s waste, from glass and organics to pol-ystyrene and problem household items. “People who visit us here and take our tours are surprised at what they learn and how complex and interesting waste can be.” Upcycle Your Holidays is a great outdoor event with fun activities for young and old.
