Mangrove forest in Karawang Regency covers about 28.76% of the total
mangrove forest in West Java
This mangrove ecosystem cause a change in the communities’ activities towards tourism
In Sukakerta Village, the mangrove ecosystem started to developed to become a tourist attraction in 2018 by surrounding coastal communities and reached 20.000 visitors a year

CONCLUSION
The existence of mangrove ecotourism influencedthe daily activities of the coastal communities.Furthermore, generations also influenced themobilities. The young generations have a moredynamic mobilities and unlimited scape. Whereasthe old generations have more static mobilities andlimited space.
